Peacefully, at the Drew Nursing Home, Joyce Fraser, age 85, of Sackville passed away with her husband Ken by her side on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Born in Marysville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Hazel (Shaw) Everett. Living originally in Dorchester, she was an active member of the Dorchester Baptist Church. After moving to Sackville in the late '60s, she was a nurse at the Sackville Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed curling for many years. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she will be sadly missed by her son Paul (Helen), Sackville; and daughter Patricia Fraser of Moncton; two grandchildren, Amanda and Ryan; lifelong friends Audrey Anderson, Fredericton and Allan Bishop, Halifax. She was the last surviving member of her family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville (364-1300). Visiting hours were held from the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service was held at the Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of their choice. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
