It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Sheldon Jessome, age 44, a former resident of Toronto Road, Florence, now residing in Kitchener, Ont. for the past 20 years, on Saturday, April 4, 2009.
Born in Sydney Mines, Kenny was the son of William ‘Brother’ and Virginia ‘Ginny’ Jessome, Florence. Kenny was a member of St. Stephen Church, Florence.
Besides his parents Kenny is survived by his only son, Carl Sheldon Jessome and his sister, Denise Jessome, Sydney Mines. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kenny was predeceased by his brother, David Jessome in 1983 and his grandparents, Stanfield and Gertrude Jessome and William ‘Bill’ and Melvina ‘Mel’ Jessome.
A private family visitation will be held. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Stephen Church, Florence with Rev. Reg Currie officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
