Bertha Waye passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital on Friday, April 2, 2010 in her 97th year.
Beloved grandmother of Deborah Sachsa (Horst), Roy Lynk (Anne) and Candace Orme (Dan). Loving great-grandmother of Taryn, Jenna, Cameron, Connor and Jesse and great-great grandchildren, Noah, Madison and Violet.
Predeceased by her husband, Tony; her daughter, Doreen Lynk and son-in-law, Marcel Lynk; four brothers; three sisters and her parents, Stewart and Frances Mercer.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Coutts Funeral Home Chapel, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1 p.m. Inurnment Memory Gardens.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
