It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Ada Power announce her passing at Hoyles Home on Monday, August 18, 2008 at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by her sister Marie Besco in Toronto, brother-in-law Ed Dunne in St. John’s and a large number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers: Joe, Tom, Red, Mike, Louis, Leo and sisters: Beatrice Mary and Dorothea. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from St. Joseph’s Chapel in St. George from where funeral services will take place on Friday, August 22nd, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery on Courthouse Road in St. Georges. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville.
