Peacefully at the Mount St-Joseph Nursing Home in Miramichi, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the age 98, from Mount St-Joseph of Miramichi formerly of Covedell, Mrs Emma Grattan. Wife of the late James H. Grattan. She was the daughter of the late Frank Kenny and the late Mary Louise Allain.
She will be greatly missed by her: four daughters : Doris Ann (Henry Arseneau) of Oshawa, Ontario, Eunice Robichaud of Moncton, Mary (Mel Richard), Margaret (John Richard) both of Miramichi one son : Kenneth (Nancy) of Oromocto, thirteen grandchildren: Kevin, Darren, Shelly, Jeff, Tanya, Nicole, Derek, Kim, Krista, Michael, James, Dean, Melissa and fifteen great-grandchildren
One sister-in-law, Alida (late George Kenny).
Predeceased by: her daughter, Donna Jean (1941); her son, Russell (1942); four brothers: William, George, Allen, Ernest; two sisters: Emily and Frances. Mrs Grattan was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Will be resting at : Robichaud & Son Home, 50 Otho, Street, Néguac on Friday April 9, 2010 at 2 pm. The Funeral services will be held at the St-Georges Church of Covedell on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 11 am. Visitation hours : Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9, Saturday 9 until the departure. In memory of Mrs Grattan donation to the St-Georges Church of Covedell or any other charity of your choice would be appreciated.
