Yvonne Léger, 77, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont. Born on December 18, 1932 in Cap-des-Caissie, NB, she was the daughter of the late David and Edwina (Pellerin) Brun. Before her retirement, Yvonne worked as the Post Office Mistress in Notre-Dame. She is survived by one daughter, Dyane Léger (Roger LeBlanc) of Moncton; one grandson, Emmanuel Léger-LeBlanc; one sister, Généva Fougère (René) of Grande-Digue; two brothers: Théo O'Brien (Aline) of Shediac Bridge and Emery Brun (Huberte) of Cap-des-Caissie; two sisters-in-law: Hélène Myers of Cocagne and Donalda Léger of Dieppe; one special cousin, Thérèse Boudreau of Boudreau Office. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul, and one daughter, Sonia.
The family will receive condolences at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur R.C. Church, Notre-Dame-de-Kent, where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 19 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Yvonne, a contribution to the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur parish or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
