1928 - 2010 Miramichi - Winifred Wilson Williston, of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Brad Street, Miramichi, passed away at her residence, on Friday, April 16, 2010, at the age of 82. Born in Bayside, on February 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Isabel (Gibson) MacDonald. She was a homemaker and a Christian by Faith. She is survived by three daughters, Heather Tyndal (Ted), of High River, AB, Darlene Lonseth (Dale) and Brenda Crosson (Lorne), all of Rocanville, Sask.; five sons, Ron Williston, Vern Williston (Jacqueline), all of Calgary, AB, Bruce Williston (Stephanie), Perry Williston (Sherry), all of Miramichi, Stacy Williston (Brenda), of Niagara Falls, Ont.; three sisters, Lillian MacCullum (Neil), of Miramichi, Agnes Moore, of Sask., and Rena Newbat (Ralph), of Moncton; two brothers, Cecil MacDonald (Mercy), of Miramichi and Vaughn MacDonald (Dolly), of Black River Bridge; nineteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, James Williston; one brother, Warren MacDonald.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Monday only, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 2 pm. Interment will be in the Bayside Christian Cemetery, Miramichi Bay. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
