Pauline (Fitzmaurice) Mallory, widow of Harry A. Mallory and a long time resident of St. Andrews passed away at Passamaquoddy Lodge on April 12, 2010 at the age of 97. Pauline was born in St. Stephen on March 9, 1913, the daughter of James and Edith (Johnson) Fitzmaurice. She received her primary education in St. Stephen, and graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1930. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League for many years and attended Holy Rosary Church in St. Stephen and the Church of St. Andrew in St. Andrews until 1994 at which time her health prevented her from attending in person. She was a keen and accomplished knitter who worked at home for the Charlotte County Cottage Craft for many years. She is survived by a daughter Catherine Crosby (Robert) of Ottawa ON, two sons, Bill (Lori) of St. Andrews NB and Frank (Judy) of Indian Head, Saskatchewan; six grandsons, three great granddaughters and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry A. Mallory in 2003, her parents, brothers; Frank and James and sisters; Edith, Catherine and Maxine.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Church of St Andrew Roman Catholic Church, King Street, St. Andrews, NB at 11 AM on Friday April 23, 2010. There will be no visitation by request. Interment to take place at a later date at the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
