Surrounded by family and friends, Bette Jones, beloved wife of the late Roy C. "Tim" Jones, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. She was born on March 20, 1918 to the late Charles and Annie (Steen) Brigden. Bette was a member of the former St. Paul's Valley Church. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Taylor (Preston); one grandson, Brent Taylor; one brother, Ken Brigden. Besides her loving husband and parents, Bette was predeceased by two brothers; George and Charlie Brigden.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A private interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
