It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rex Hulan a resident of Silverwood Manor in Kippen's formally of St. David's announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday, April 23rd at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn his brothers: Chesley, Robinson's, Rodney (Edith), Eldred, Winston (Louise), Junior (Shirley), Hilliard (Linda) all of St. David's, John (Kathy), Delta, BC; sisters: Elizabeth (William) Alley, St. David's, Verna Gillis, Stephenville, Debra (Fred) Legge, Kitchener, ON, Shirley Hulan, St. David's; brother-in-law Charlie Alley, St. David's as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Silas and Isabelle Hulan and sister Marjorie. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 7 - 9 p.m., Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David's from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon David Pearce officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, St. David's. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
