Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 24th, 2010 at Chancellor Park Nursing Home, Elizabeth M. (Bette) Williams, aged 87 years. Last surviving child of Patrick and Sarah Murphy. Predeceased by her husband Michael Williams (M.F. Grocer) July 1980; brothers: Richard, John, Patrick and Terry; sisters: Isabelle (Barr), Imelda McKinlay (Alex) and Theresa Simpson (Gordon). Leaving to mourn her passing and celebrating her life, son: Terry (Jeanette); daughters: Michell (Kevin Sullivan) and Megan (Walter/Sonny Walsh); grandchildren: Deirdre Williams, Michael Williams (Yuko), Colin Sullivan (Michelle Burke), Claire Sullivan (Mike Hillier), Adam Hunt (Katie Carleson), Sarah Hunt, Jessica Hunt (Vincent Power) and Rebecca Hunt (Kris Butt); 2 great-grandchildren: Yui Claire and Naoto Patrick Williams; special nieces: Jody Whittle, Brenda Jardine and Gayle Russell; sisters-in-law: Florence Murphy, Nada Murphy and Mercedes Williams, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the St. Patrick's Church Building Fund.
