MAILMAN, Eric Kingdom - 79 of Nictaux, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in New Germany, N.S., he was a son of the late Ward K. and Jenny (Risser) Mailman. Eric retired after 33 years with C.E. Section, 14 Wing Greenwood. He was a member of the Nictaux Baptist Church. He is survived by his sister,Valerie Balcom, Dartmouth, N.S.; brothers, Cedric Charles Mailman, Ellershouse, Hants Co.; cousins, Jack and Shirley Minard, Clarence and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife the former Viola Grant and half brother, Harold Risser. A special thank you to Jack and Shirley; the staff of Tibbetts Home for Special Care and the staff of Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service was held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in the Nictaux Baptist Church. Rev. Bill McLeod officiated. Interment in the Nictaux Cemetery.
