1926-2010 - The death of Margaret Ann Lloyd of Holmesville occurred on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 20, 1926 in Aberdeen, Scotland she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ann (Davies) Leith and wife of the late Winfred Lloyd.
Margaret is survived by her six children, Martin Lloyd (Barb), May Atkinson (Francis), Douglas Lloyd (Sheila), Heather Lloyd, Elizabeth Noonan (Dave) and Andrew Lloyd (Lee); 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one brother, Douglas Leith and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Winfred, son, Donald, grandson, Colin and brother Alex.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Fred Burnett, Rev. Rick Murray and Pastor Dwayne Broad will officiate. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment at the Holmesville Church Hall.
By request of the family, donations made to the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Mineral Free Baptist Church would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Colin, Dr. Bruce Lockhart, nurses and the staff of the Upper River Valley Hospital for their care during Margaret's stay there.
