Gary R. Foster of Peel, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born September 9, 1937 and was the son of the late Allen and Mamie (Estabrooks) Foster. He was also pre-deceased by his sister, Sharon Brooks and brother-in-law, Harold Billings. Gary is survived by his wife, Ann (Rideout) Foster, Peel; children, Allen (Denise) Foster, Notre-Dam, Bruce (Karen) Foster, Moncton, Laurie (James) Estabrooks, Riverview, Leisa (David) Hallett, Upper Brighton, Michelle (David Manning) Foster-Manning, Riverview; 16 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; sisters, Beverley (Donald) Prosser, Lansdowne, Marilyn Billings, Lower Hainesville; brothers, Wayne (Avis) Foster, Lansdowne, Robert (Rhonda) Foster, Stickney, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30th at the People's Church in Somerville from 1 to 3 p.m and 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 1st at 2:00 p.m. from the People's Church with Rev. Darel Tozer officiating. Interment will be in the Harmon Cemetery in Peel. If desired donations can be made to the Harmon Cemetery, People's Church or Gideons.
