December 14, 1924 - April 20, 2010

Ward passed away peacefully in the presence of family.
He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Josephine and his younger brother Cam.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family: his children Ken (Beth), Brian (Lynn), Bill (Amber), Sandra Boscariol (Paul) and Debbie Schijf (Walter). Also his brother Vic (Dot) and his grandchildren: Richard, Tracy, Lisa, Bradley, Nicole, Lauren, Simon and Marianna, as well as five great-grandchildren.

During his time with the Canadian Air Force he spent 30 years overseas and across Canada. After retiring in 1972 Ward lived in Kamloops, Pritchard and Summerland. He spent the last five years in Sidney living with Brian and Lynn.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at the Sidney Care Home and Beacon Community Services.

A Celebration of Ward's Life was held in Sidney at St. Paul's United Church on Malaview Ave. on Saturday, April 24th, 2010.

In lieu of flowers donations, to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
