It is with great sadness that the family of the late Minnie "Ruth" Elworthy announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, on Sunday, May 2, 2010, at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by four sons: Lloyd (Shirley) of Stephenville Crossing, Lester (Evelyn) of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Kevin (Phyllis) of Brampton, Ontario and Glenn of Ontario; three daughters: Verna (Larry) Mullikin of Louisville, Kentucky, Fran (Steve) McKinnon of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Gloria (Carl) Neilsen of Summerville, South Carolina; one brother, Robert (Effie) Andrews of Winterton, NL; 19 grandchildren and a large circle of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William Robert Elworthy; parents, Ebenizer & Florence (Kelland) Andrews; son, Raymond; daughter, Jean Szejna; brothers: Harold, Allison and Raymond; and sister, Lillian Cleary.
