Passed peacefully away on Monday, May 3, 2010, at the Health Sciences Center, Gerard J. O'Driscoll, aged 80 years of Bay Bulls, surrounded by music and love with his family at his side. Predeceased by his beloved son Ron, May 3, 2008, parents Alec and Maggie O'Driscoll, brother Loyola, sisters: Alberta and Margorie, parents-in-law David and Sarah Slaney, brothers-in-law: Bill, Bud and Julian, sisters-in-law: Maggie, Monnie, Mellie. Leaving to mourn with great loss his wife of 56 years Madoline (Dean) nee Slaney; son Gary O'Driscoll (Anna), Meghan, Erin and Maria; daughter Bonnie Lethbridge (Gary), Stephen, Kerry and Danielle; son Randy O'Driscoll (Arthana), Laura and Leslie; daughter-in-law Lisa O'Driscoll, Maddie and Alex; son David O'Driscoll (Karen), Tyler; daughter Tracy Oliver (Mike) Kelsey, Shayne and Julie; brothers: Mike, Charlie and Alan O'Driscoll; sisters: Shirley Baker, Delores Dwyer and Marilyn Paul; brother-in-law Michael Slaney and sister-in-law Marie Rennie and their families; along with a large circle of family and friends. Gerard enjoyed and loved life, his music, his family and his friends. He will live forever through lives he touched. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Wednesday, May 5th and Thursday, May 6th from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church on Friday, May 7th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta R.C. Cemetery, Bay Bulls. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bay Bulls R.C. Cemetery Committee.
