Pierce MacNeil
Card of thanks
We, the family of the late Pierce MacNeil would like to take this opportunity to thank so many people for the numerous acts of kindness shown to us during his illness and our recent loss. We are truly grateful to the many doctors and nurses (Sydney and Halifax) who were involved in Pierce's care, the VON workers, the Cancer Center, Palliative care team and the volunteers. We give our heartfelt thanks to the many people whose warm hugs, comforting words and presence helped carry us through this difficult time. To all those who travelled far and near to be with us, gave mass cards, sympathy cards, donations in Pierce's memory and floral bouquets. To the employees and co-workers, especially OBS and Value Village for your support. To those who attended his wake and funeral and for all the food that was delivered to our homes. A very special thank you to Rev. Jim Oliver for his kind words and beautiful service, Pierce's co-workers for the Honor Guard, St. Theresa's choir for the beautiful music, the pallbearers, the readers and the offertory bearers and to the ladies for the beautiful lunch. To Bill Curry and staff who took care of every detail with concern and dignity. A special thanks to Pierce's friend, Joe, who gave a heart warming 'toast' at the reception. We sincerely appreciate the thoughtfulness of everyone who helped in any way and will remember it always. May God Bless you!
Patsy, Gary, Michael, Mindy and the MacNeil and Kendrick families.
