1929 - 2010 - Lucienne Williams, 80 of Bouctouche, has passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and her husband of 60 years Adolph, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at her residence on Tuesday, May 11th, 2010. Born in Neguac on July 15th, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Alain and the late Sophie (Breau) Savoie.
Lucienne was a former member of "Les Dames d'Acadie de Bouctouche". She will be sadly missed by her husband Adolph, her five children, Linda Cormier (Paul), Yvon (Nora) both of Moncton, Carmelle Daigle (O'Neil) of Bouctouche, Gisèle Foreman (Neil) of Fredericton and Anita Allain (Laurie) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; she also leaves behind six grandchildren, Angele, Richard, Jules, Michelle, Nicholas and Marc-André, and three great-grandchildren Ella, Jacob and Abbey. She also leaves one half-brother Amédée Savoie (Carole) of Neguac and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-mother, Eva Savoie, two brothers, Alphée and Alyre and one sister Lina.
Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Friday, May 14th, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday, May 14th, 2010 at 4:00 pm. In Lucienne's memory donations to the Oncology Department of the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital or to the Relay for life would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
