It is with great sadness to announce the passing of John (Jack) Edmiston, at the age of 73. Jack passed away peacefully with his family around him on May 11, 2010. Jack was born June 27, 1936 in York County, Ontario. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mabel; son Robert (Darlene); daughters Yvonne (Dave), and Nora (Daryl); grandchildren, Amanda, John, Dustin, Sheena, Devin, Trista, Selena, and William; and special cousin Gail. A Celebration of Jack's life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday May 15, 2010 at 1:30 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658, Moose Jaw, S6H 7K7, would be greatly appreciated.
