The death of Jeanne Gandy of Lincoln, NB occurred on May 15th, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born March 27th, 1925 in Halifax, NS she was the daughter of the late S.T.E. and Mildred (Denyse) Fetterly and was the wife of the late John E. Gandy. She was known as Mum Mum to her grandchildren and was a Girl Guide and Brownie leader for many years in Lincoln. She is survived by her children, Jill Phillips (Gary) of Rusagonis, NB, Julie Gandy of Amherst, NS, Jocelyn Pike (Ken) of Vancouver, BC and Jonathan Gandy of Oromocto, NB; her grandchildren, Lindsay Phillips, Kerri Rowe (Derek), Jody Laviolette and Emma Gandy-Reeves; her great-grandchildren, Emily, Denver and Ryder; her brothers, Allan Fetterly, Warren Fetterly and Tom Fetterly and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010. Interment will take place in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB. (357-5100) www.oromoctofh.com
