At the age of 100, the peaceful death of Sadie (McLeod) (O'Donoghue) Melville of the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB, formerly of Darlings Island, NB, wife of Kenneth Melville, occurred Friday, May 14th, 2010, at her residence. Besides her husband, Ken, Sadie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marilyn Anderson and granddaughter, Terry Anderson both of West Saint John. Sadie was predeceased by her first husband, Ken O'Donoghue and two sisters, Edna Roberts and Francis McLeod.
At the family's request, no visitation will take place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 18th, 2010, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Reid's Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, (506) 832-5541. Rev. Leo Martin will officiate. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
