Lakeburn - Gérald "Jerry Corky" LeBlanc, 69, of New Britain, CT, passed away on Monday, March 15th, 2010 in Columbia, South Carolina, U.S. He was a knight of Columbus for over 30 years. Jerry was born in Lakeburn, Dieppe, N.B., to the late Ernest and Clara LeBlanc. Jerry retired from General Dynamics in Groton, CT, U.S. He lived in Canada, New Britain and South Carolina yearly. He is survived by three sisters; Joan (Riveus), Vincent of Columbia, SC, Pauline (Alderic), Richard of Shediac River, N.B. and Verna (Fred) Covini of Ellenton, Florida, U.S., a brother, Oswald "Ozzie" LeBlanc Dieppe of N.B., Canada. He was also predeceased by two of his brothers; Ronald "Ronny" (Bernadette) Cocagne of N.B., and Gervais (Léola) Dieppe, N.B., and a host of several nephews and nieces.
A funeral mass for Gérald "Jerry Corky" LeBlanc will be held at 10am on Friday, May 21st, 2010 at Notre-Dame de Lorette Church in Lakeburn, Dieppe.
