We, the family of Philip Stewart Warren, 61, regret to announce his sudden passing at home on May 16, 2010.
Born in Cape Ray, N.L., he was the son of the late Walter and Olive (Short) Warren. Phil was a fisherman all his life and he also like to hunt.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia (LeBlanc) Warren; his daughter, Audrey; his grandchildren, Phillip, Adam and Jessica; his brothers, Jim (Gladys) and Walter (Linda); his sisters, Mildred (Chess Short) and Gertie (James MacIsaac); his brother-in-law, Ralph Osmond and his sister-in-law, Betty Warren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, George and his sisters, Susan and Vera.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. The funeral service will take place Friday at 3 p.m. in Wilson United Church, Florence, with Rev. Norma Mills officiating. Burial in Point Aconi Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the N.S. Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
