The death of Winston Myles Crouse of Geary, NB, occurred suddenly at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Monday, May 17th, 2010. Born in Cloverdale, NB in 1937 he was the son of the late Myles Henry and Gertrude Grace (Grant) Crouse and the husband of Shirley (Carr) Crouse. Winston started work at the age of 13 and continued until he passed. He enjoyed working in his gravel pit with his sons. His love of animals led to a lifetime of farming. He achieved all his goals in life he set for himself. He enjoyed music especially the song he claims was written for his wife, Shirley "Woman Like Me". Every time it was played he would always say there's Mom's song. His family would like to thank his close friends Clarence Carr, Phillip Grasse (predeceased) Timmy Matheson, Emery Howe, Reese Donovan (predeceased), Andy Chapelle (predeceased) and Carl Grasse. Austin "Toby" Sode. The family also wishes to thank the Nurses at the Oromocto Public Hospital Med 1 and Dr. K. Woods for the wonderful care given to our Dad you will never be forgotten.
We will always love & miss you Dad. Survived by his loving wife Shirley; their children, Gilbert (Sandy) Crouse of Geary, NB, Elizabeth Ann (Gilles) Michaud of Geary, Barbara Ann (Sterling) Acron of Geary, Winston Jr. (Kim) Crouse of Geary, Patricia (William ) Tibbits of Geary, Darlene (Serge Godin) Crouse of Geary; grandchildren, Tracey, Jamie, Amanda, Carson, Jennifer, Derick, Tyler, Justin, (Mellissa, Marc- Andre) and great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Brayden and Tyvek; his chosen grandchildren, Charlotte (Boone), Maurice; also survived by one nephew who was dear to his heart Jerry Clark; special cousin, Guy Crouse; special niece, Tabitha Johnson; two brothers , Elwyn (Myrna) Crouse of Hanwell, Leslie (Joan) Crouse of Hanwell; one sister, Jacqueline Humble (Don). Predeceased by his parents; one son Derick James; one brother, Larry Crouse. There will be no visitation or funeral service by Winston's request.
