Edna Martha (nee Burke) Nearing in her 93rd year, of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, at London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Campus, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Beloved wife of the late James Lawrence Nearing (1982); loving mother of James David Nearing; special grandmother of Anne Marie (nee Nearing) and Doug Beer and Karen Nearing; and well-loved great-grandmother of Tyler, Allison, Dustin, Dalton, and Taylor.
Edna was a member of the St. Anne's parish in Glace Bay for 85 years and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are being made for June in Glace Bay.
