The death of Holly Yvonne (Dibblee) Tays, age 77, wife of Ralph E. Tays of Southfield, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. She was born at Erb Settlement, NB, on June 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Collins and Josephine Dibblee. Holly is survived by her husband Ralph; sons Larry Dibblee of Bloomfield, David Dibblee of Saint John and Reggie (Monica) Tays of Southfield; daughters Noreen(Carl) Gallagher of Bullmoose Hill, Dorothy Mercer (Tony Barton) of Minto, Lori (Terry) Lamb of Pickwaucket, and June (Ron) Alyea of Norton; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; cousins Fred Cooke of Lake Utopia and Doreen Arsenault of Saint John.
Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home & Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Friday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Interment will follow in Southfield Cemetery. Donations to Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, the Animal Rescue League of Saint John, or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
