Omar Sadden was born at Gouverneur, SK on December 20, 1929. He was the third of six children born to Joesph & Najla Sadden. Omar was predeceased by his parents and his brothers: Joe, Kalid & Obida. He is survived by his two daughters, his Sister Fiddy of Kelowna BC, his Brother Al of Stony Plain AB, special friend Janet Kozo of Moose Jaw, SK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Omar left home and school at a very early age to work as a farm hand for several farmers, after which he and his former wife lived on a small farm at Admiral where they had two girls. Omar hauled gravel locally and then cattle to the southern US, and operated a furniture store in Moose Jaw. He also sold Christmas trees and various poultry in Moose Jaw. After his retirement, he returned to work part-time for a farmer near Moose Jaw. Omar was a very hard worker who lived a simple life and enjoyed nothing more than a card game, a hot cup of coffee and a good laugh. The Memorial Service celebrating Omar's life was held on Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home with Reverend Bonita Chad officiating. Anna Mather and brother Al Sadden shared memories of Omar's life. The urn bearer was Al Sadden. The interment service for the cremated remains took place in a family plot at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Swift Current, SK.
