It is with great sadness that we announce that Irene Violet Doige peacefully passed away in the arms of her loving family at the Brampton Civic Hospital after a long battle to recover from a serious fall at the age of 82 years. She will be terribly missed by her daughter Heather Lynn and son-in-law Bruce, two sons Garry and Darrell, her grandchildren Ricky, Shaun, Stephanie Beaudin, Shaun and Steven Kieran, Doug, Tamara and Darrell Shane. Predeceased by her husband Charlie, daughter Sharon and two brothers Charlie and Ray. Mom will also be missed by her sister Shirley, brother Hartly, sister-in-laws Betty and Joan. Along with many nieces and nephews, especially little Sarah. She will be missed by her many friends in the GTA, Montreal and the Moncton area. She has touched the lives of everyone who had the opportunity of meeting this wonderful woman.
The family will receive friends at the Brampton Memorial Chapel & Visitation Centre, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton (905-460-9155) on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 7 until 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall, 360 Conestoga Drive, Brampton, Ontario on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
