It is with great sadness that the family of the late Merle George Brett announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife, Theresa (nee Biggs) of 40 years; his children: Christine (Cheyanne), Mark (Maurissa), Rodney (Jenny) and Janet (Darren); grandchildren: Cody, Connor, Hayden, Tyler, Cameron, Elizabeth, Chrissy T. and Brandon, as well as a wide circle of family and friends. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Cathedral, Mount Bernard, on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Church Fund.
