Passed away Alma Victoria Benoit on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Alphonus; children: Sheila (Vincent) Young, April (Gordon) Wheeler, Edgar (Aliusha) Benoit, Robert (Sandra) Benoit, Edmund (Monica) Benoit, Joanne Marche (Paul Gaudet), Octave (Petrina) Benoit, Donna Benoit (Glenn Young); grandchildren: Angel & Morgan, Angell, Twila, Kalina, Diego, Adrianna, Trevor, Edmund, Coltor, Quentin, Caiomi, Heather, Courtney, Amber, Kyla, Little Octave, Shawna, Noah, Jonah; great-grandchildren Zoey, Karma, Caleb, Marcell; sisters: Violet, Mae, Delcie, Myrtle, Robina, Susan, Anne, Linda, Ruth, Sandra; brothers Frank and Clayton as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Marjorie Baker; brothers: Moses, Edward; grandchildren Randy and Brianna. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of The Cape Parish on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Anthony officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marche's Point. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
