GILBERT, Margaret B. "Peggy" - 69, of West Brook, Cumberland Co. passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris (Pettigrew) Pettigrew. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; a son, Peter (Sandra), West Brook; sisters, Melissa Davies, London, Ont.; Madeline Pettigrew (Terry), London, Ont.; Carol Proctor (Ernest), West Brook; Valerie Bates (Dave), London, Ont.; Gloria Brownell (Keith Burbine), River Hebert; Kathy Rector (Charles), Amherst; Shelly Rogers (Jimmy), Southampton; a brother, Larry, Parrsboro; 2 grandchildren, Jackie and Bradley; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Diana; a brother, Robert. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday [June 4, 2010] at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Rev.
