FREDERICKS, Hilda Mae - 88, of Bridgetown, formerly of Torbrook passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Parkers Cove, NS, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Florence Hardwick. Hilda was only 15 months old when her mother passed away. She had 2 sisters, Louise and Edith and 3 brothers, Kenneth, Arthur and Voris. After her mother passed away, the family all went to live with different relatives, Hilda was brought up by an Aunt and Uncle, Harry and Vivian Hudson in Belleisle. She is survived by daughters, Patricia Cross; Wanita Cross; Betty Ann (Elizabeth) Reid; Janette Searle and Janice Clifford and 18 grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Doug Fredericks. Visitation was held Sunday, April 11, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home , where the Funeral Service was held Monday, April 12, 2010. Rev. Herb Townsend officiated. Interment was held in the Torbrook United Cemetery. By request, family flowers only.
