SLADE, Jethro - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, June 11, 2010, Jethro Slade of Western Bay, age 89 years. Predeceased by wife Joan, parents William and Elsie, daughter Ella, sisters Ella, Naomi and Annie, brothers George, Fred and Tobias. Leaving to mourn one daughter Ella, St. John's; two sons: Percy (Karen), St. John's and John, Western Bay; five grandchildren: Brian, Curtis, Patrick, Sarah (Robbie) and Joshua; two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Ethan; one sister Ruby Legge, Twillingate, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service on Monday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
