The death of Charlotte Mildred Isaacs, wife of the late Michael J. Isaacs, occurred on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born at Roxville, NS on February 5, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Jane (Baker) (Williams) Bowe. Charlotte was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by her sons; Wendell of Saint John, NB, Warren of Digby, NS, and Brian ofVancouver, BC, daughter; Diane Haynes (George) of Digby, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Charlotte is predeceased by her sister, Lillian Patterson, half sister; Thelma Frandsen, brothers; Robert Bowe and half brothers; Frank Gates, Gene, George, and Vincent Bowe.
In keeping with Charlotte's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424. A private graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation.
