Beulah (Harquail) Frenette of Dalhousie, NB passed away June 21, 2010 at the age of 66. Born in Dalhousie, NB, Beulah was the daughter of the late Alice (Ross) Theriault and Lawrence Harquail. Beulah was very active in the community over the years serving on numerous boards including the NB Real Estate Board, Restigouche East Chamber of Commerce and Hospital Boards. She served 17 years as President of the Dalhousie Liberal Riding Association and acted as the Campaign Manager for the NB Minister of Finance. She was active for many years in the Bon Ami Festivals, Lioness Club, Majorettes and Beauty Pageants. Beulah was an active fund raiser working tirelessly for many charities including the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Police Association and the IWK. Beulah will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 47 years, Paul Frenette and their four children Suzette Stein, Rodney Frenette, Connie Frenette and Denise Frenette-Raymond and six grand children Alisha Raymond, Nathan Raymond, Krystel Frenette, Eric Lavoie, Luc Lavoie and Josh Stein and her siblings Randy Harquail, Elaine (Theriault) Martel and Leona (Theriault) McDavid and Leonard Theriault. Beulah was predeceased by her sister Suzanne Theriault, mother Alice (Ross) Theriault, father Lawrence Harquail, step father Felix Theriault, brother Donald Theriault (at birth) and son-in-law Etienne Raymond.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Dalhousie, NB. Viewings will be Tuesday 7 to 9pm and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Services to be held at St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie on Thursday, June 24th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beulah's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
