1939 - 2010 - Joseph A. Gallant of Riverview passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital. Born February 3, 1939 in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Arthur and Azelie Gallant. He will forever be in the hearts of his children; Wendy Kiteley of Riverview, Aaron of Halifax and Darrell (Judy) of Taiwan, grandchildren; Christopher and Cameron, sisters; Bernice, Ann, Yvonne, Nola, Jeanette and Lea, brothers; Leonce and Alvery. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Carol and a brother, Elmo. Joseph retired from the Canadian Armed Services as a Warrant Officer following 33 years service. He took great pride in the work that he and his dear friend Jim DeWolfe did over the years to the Dobson Trail in particular on the Loop Trail, which he received a certificate of recognition from the Mayor of Riverview for his efforts. A gentlemen who truly loved nature and time well spent with family.
In honoring Joe's wishes there will be no funeral service. The family invites you to join them for a gathering to celebrate his life at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (869-2007), on Sunday, June 27, from 2 to 4pm.
