Melvin Frank Ingalls, 69, of Ingalls Head, Grand Manan, N.B. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 26th at home. Born at North Head, Grand Manan, N.B. he was the son of the late Frank and Wilma (Foster) Ingalls of Grand Manan, N.B. Melvin was a retired fisherman. He is survived by his daughter Melanie Ingalls (Chris), of Saint John, one Grandson Derrick of Saint John, two sisters Donna Mullen and Linda Locke (Maynard) Locke, both of Grand Harbour, three brothers Harold (Pat) Ingalls of Castalia, Lyle, and Tommy (Joan) Ingalls of Saint John. He was predeceased by one son Derrick (1984), and one sister Louise (2009).
The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, 1:30 pm at the Grand Harbour Baptist Churchwith Rev. Jeff Benson officiating, the interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia, N.B. following the service.
