Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Sunday June 27,2010 of Mrs. Stella MacLeod beloved wife of Lloyd MacLeod of Tignish Seniors Home in her 85th year. Born in Hazelridge Manitoba on December 27,1925 she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Eva (nee Huga) Lebitt of Winnipeg Manitoba She is survived by he sister in law Anne Lebitt of Florida, and by brothers and sister in law, Roy MacLeod of Tignish; Chester(Danielle) MacLeod of Bradenton Flordia; Reg Eldershaw of Tignish; Bill Strowbridge of Marystown NFLD. She is also survived by her many nieces & nephews who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her brothers & sisters, John, Steve(Late Olga) Pete, Kay (Late Paul) Nimchuk & Margaret Kolenc. Also by sisters in law Peggy MacLeod, Edie Eldershaw and Margaret Strowbridge. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. No visiting hours by personal request. A private funeral for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Robert Lockhart officiating. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Tignish. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Arthritic Association would be gratefully appreciated.
