Doucette
Peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 of Captain Robert E. Doucette of Sherwood in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Shirley M. (nee Power) Doucette and dear father of Joseph L. Doucette and Anne Marie Doucette. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Raven (Bret) Coady, Joe Sawler, Lindsay Lowther and Ashley Doucette; brother and sisters, Adrian Doucette, Esther Michaelowski, Anita Barrett, Thelma Perry and Frances Allain. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph H. and Lucille (nee Pineau) Doucette; son, Freddie; daughter, Michelle Sawler; sister, Rosalyn Peters and his brother, Frederick. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Friday morning then transferred to St. Pius X Church for memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Society (P.E.I. Chapter).
