Keith was born in Ottawa, Ontario on January 25th, 1923, and moved to Kamloops with his family in 1929. He graduated from Kam High and joined the Canadian Air Force in 1941. He returned to Kamloops where
he met the love of his life, Jeanne (wife of 62 years), and they married in 1948.
Keith was active in the business community and with the Elks Club through the 1950s. In 1959 he moved his young family to England to continue his career in the newspaper business. Returning to Kamloops in 1964 he shifted careers and started working with the Department of Highways until the mid 1970s at which time he became Regional Director with the John Howard Society until his retirement in 1988. Post-retirement, Keith fulfilled a lifelong dream and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCC in 1994. Keith enjoyed the rest of his life surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Keith was a marvellous husband, father and grandfather, who showed an amazing zest for life with his family. He was a renowned raconteur and had a delightful, self-deprecating sense of humour. He was a graceful dancer and sang beautifully. He loved to entertain. He will be missed.
