Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Saturday evening, July 10th, 2010. Mary Rita Josephine Martin of Arnprior, formerly of Montreal and P.E.I. at the age of 67 years. Daughter of the late John James MacDonald and the late Margaret Cullen. Beloved wife of Raymond Martin. Predeceased by her first husband Len Young. Dearly loved and devoted mother of Holly O'Brien (Maurice) of Arnprior and "Grandma" of Brendan. Dear sister of Gus MacDonald, Eugene MacDonald (Janet), Joan Campbell (Basil) and Mary Butler (Allan), all of P.E.I., James MacDonald (Johanne) of Arnprior, Helen MacDonald (George Yumukoglu) and Claire MacDonald (Pierre Imbeault), both of Montreal. Predeceased by a sister, Erma MacDonald (Barrie of Chateauguay, Que.). Also survived by a large extended family. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John St. North, Arnprior on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, July 13th at 11 a.m. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital Partners in Caring campaign or the Raise the Roof campaign of St. John Chrysostom Parish would be appreciated by Rita's family.
