Chris J. Miller - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Chris Miller on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, he was the much loved, and only son of Jack and Debbie (Hanscom) Miller. Besides his parents he is survived by grandfathers, Robert Miller and Stewart Hanscom; aunts Shirley Mahaney (Rick Landry) and Danita Fanjoy (Don Beers); uncles Fred (Lynne) Miller, David (Kim) Hanscom; cousins Robbie (Sheena) Mahaney, Toby Mahaney, Jessica Hanscom, Nathan Fanjoy and Jonathan Fanjoy. Chris was an avid sports fan who loved baseball and hockey on leagues in the numerous communities where he lived during his life including Fredericton and Saint John, N.B. and Morell, P. E. I. His love of life, his smile and gentle heart will be remembered by all who he knew. He was "one of the good ones" who made a difference to many people, even in his short life.
A memorial service will be held at White's Chapel in Plaster Rock, N.B. on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Following the service, friends and family are invited to a celebration of Chris' life at the United Church Hall in Plaster Rock, N.B.
Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
