It is with great sadness that the family of Brenton Roy Pridham announces his passing at the age of 57 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born May 15th, 1953 to Lorne and Eleanor Pridham of Saint John, N.B. He is survived by his mother Eleanor, his wife Cathy (McCumber), his four children Amanda (Dave Haley) of Saint John, Sara (Trevor Cook) of St. Martins, Kristopher of Fort McMurray, AB, and Adam of Moncton, also his grandchildren Eric Haley, Dane and Morgan Pridham, one sister Sandra MacFadyen of Charlottetown, PEI, two brothers Garey (Sue Sheehy) of Windsor, NS and Mark (Carol Greer) of Rothesay, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Lorne. His remains have been donated to science in the hope that it will save others from this devastating disease.
A memorial gathering will be held at Stoneybrook Lodge, Bains Corner, 2 pm Friday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Saint John Regional Palliative Care Unit, Lakewood Headstart, or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
