Gérard "John" Boudreau, 62, of Grand-Barachois, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born on January 11th, 1948, he was the son of the late Camille and Laura (Léger) Boudreau.
He worked as a truck driver in Ontario for many years and retired in his hometown to be close to his big family. He loved the outdoor and was passionate for music and dancing.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers and sisters: Angèle Comeau (Réginald), Tilla Boudreau (Louis), Thérèse Gaudet (Claude), Maria Boudreau (Victor), and Denise LeBlanc (Eric), all of Grand Barachois; Claudine Skerry (Johnny), Daniel (Denise), Rosemond (Thérèse), and Maurice (Michelle), all of Shediac; Marielle Correia (Richard), of Ontario, Ronald (Lorette), of Grande Digue; two children, John and Doreen, both of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren; a special friend, Rolande; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is predeceased by a brother, Clorice; and by two sisters, Jeannette Doiron and Rosella Cormier.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute Aboujagane on Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 at 10 am.
