The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by family and friends at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, July 18, 2010 of Alfreda "Freda" Mary Craig (nee Thompson) of Summerside, aged 57 years. Freda was born on Sept. 30, 1952 in Summerside, P.E.I. to her late parents, Frederick and Marie (nee Arsenault) Thompson. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" and loving mother of Terry of Summerside and Joey of Toronto, ON. Survived by her sisters Beatrice (Raymond) Gallant of Toronto, ON and Lorraine (Fred) Shonaman of Rothesay, N.B. and her brother Wilfred (Cecile) Thompson of North Bedeque. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, July 21, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday , 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Freda's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Paul's Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
