Gary Marchesin passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, in his 54th year.
He was the beloved husband of Catherine (White); greatly missed by daughter, Jennifer (Brad); cherished Papa of Ethan and Owen; as well as 'daughter' Jennifer (Brian) Vantol, Benjamin and John. Beloved brother of Cecilia Liebeck, Rose Head (Tom), Lorraine Burke (Bernie), Madonna Marchesin and Lloyd Marchesin.
Predeceased by his parents, Samuel Marchesin and Catherine Getto, and brothers, Donald and Joseph Marchesin.
Gary will be greatly missed by all of his relatives and friends, as well as his beloved pets, the late Atlas and Belle.
A memorial service was held at Dod's and McNair Funeral Home and Chapel in Orangeville, Ont., on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010. A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, July 23, 2010, from 12 - 1 p.m. at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral service, officiated by Deacon Leo Penny, will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A luncheon will be held in the funeral home immediately after the service. All are welcome to attend. A private burial service will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, New Waterford.
