The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax on Sunday July 18, 2010 of Angela Blanchard of Tignish aged 49 years. Special friend of Frank Keefe, Skinners Pond, P.E.I.
She was born on September 4, 1960, the daughter of the late Emile Bernard and Doris (Pitre) Bernard, Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op.
Loving mother to Pamela Blanchard (David), Summerside and Cody Blanchard (Jenna), Charlottetown.
Cherished grandmother to Darien, Noah and Savanna Blanchard.
Dear sister to Rose Harper, Tignish; Dianne (Gary) Newsone, Summerside; Paul Bernard, Tryon; Lloyd (Pam) Bernard, Alberta and Gussie (Heather) Bernard, Pleasant View.
She was predeceased by father Emile and a sister in infancy.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-10 a.m.
Funeral will be held Wednesday from the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.
Memorial donations for the upkeep of the Knights of Columbus Hall, Palmer Road would be greatly appreciated.
