Irene May (Ferguson) Sosa passed away at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario, on June 29th, 2010, after a brief illness.
Irene was born February 6th, 1927, and grew up in Lakeville Corner, NB.
She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon Sosa and her parents, Clifford and Elva Ferguson.
Irene worked at BA Oil Company and BF Goodrich Company until her retirement. Irene and Gord loved to travel, but always returned home to Lakeville Corner for their summer visit.
She is survived by her brother, Gary Ferguson (Gwen); niece, Julie Little (Dean); nephew, Ross Ferguson; and great-niece, Victoria. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marilyn Grennan (Leonard); niece, Karen Ford (Dean); nephews, Don Grennan (Helen), and Douglas Grennan (Sharon), and their children. Irene leaves her special lifelong friend and cousin, Joyce (Hargrove) Clowater; cousins Terry Sprage, Rhonda Clowater, Shelly Ateo (Perry), Kelly Davidson (Roger), and Evan Clowater (Jeanette).
Internment will be July 23rd, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Lakeville Corner United Church Cemetery, where she will join her beloved husband, Gordon Sosa and her parents. Reception to follow at the Women's Institute Hall. Bishop's Funeral Home (www.bishopsfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
