The death of Flora Isabel (Roberts) Brade, age 83, wife of the late William F. Brade of Waverley, NS, occurred as a result of a fire at Long Point, NB, on July 17, 2010. She was born at Long Point, NB, on August 4, 1926, the daughter of the late Frederick and Bessie (Roberts) Roberts. Flora is survived by her son Robert and Jean Mathias of Waverley, NS; daughter Ann Mathias-Moses of Yarmouth, NS; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters Mary MacDonald of London, ON and Mildred Rigby of BC; brother Eldon and Vera Roberts of Bourmouth, England; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter Launa May Lunn; sisters Bessie, May, Edith and Hilda; brothers Charles, Frank, Albert (Ernest), Edmund, Frederick and Harold.
Visiting will be at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service, with Rev. George Howe officiating, will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Interment will be in Kiersteadville Cemetery
